I was at Pismo last week and saw a guy with a six door Excursion. I stopped and spoke with him as he was towing a 30 ft Weekend Warrior toy hauler. I know I tow a 28 foot with my X and thought I shouldn't go much heavier. Anyways he said that it towed great. He added 04 F350 springs and the added wheel base made it decent. He also added that he spent about 6k under the hood with a new turbo, injectors, exhaust, intercooler and so forth. So I'm sure it has the juice now. However what would that work Legal wise. I'm sure something like that would add atleast 800 pounds. It would be at GVW.

going out on a limb here...

Good bet that the folks that have this done have a little cabbage and are probably not concerned with a warranty.

Just a hunch.

I wonder how much this costs to do? I've been thinking of trading for an Excursion, but with this you'd have all the seating and still retain the bed. I'll have to give them a call for a price quote.

notice the Salvage title. Is this due to the custom work or other?
