Inductive Heating Flash Concerns

My truck goes in the shop monday for white smoke and rough running on initial cold weather startup. From what I've read on this forum they may do the inductive heating flash to try and correct this. My concern is that the part of the injector that is involved was not designed to be a heater. Might this cause premature failure or problems down the road? I'm not a mechanic so forgive me if this is a stupid question. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John

the amount of current used to do the inductive heating low enough that it will not cause any problems. Don't worry it's a good flash.

I hope it works for you, I didnt help my starts one bit!! But im starting to wonder it something went wrong in the uploading process, cus it has seemed to help just about everyone else.
