Howes is by far the best anti gel on the market. I drove big trucks for years up north and have seen -80 deg f with that stuff in the tanks and no problems. I've gelled up at least once on every other product on the market at one time or another. You do need to use it on a regular basis to get the full winter benefit.
The Howes does a great job of lubing the pump and cleaning things out too, as far as power, never noticed any big increase, but always smoother running.
I do business through the company I work for with a trucking company in Winnipeg, Alberta. They were in my area recently and haqd driven down in a diesel pickup. As I also drive a diesel I asked about anti gell additive. They highly recommended Howes. They are the second trucking company to suggest Howes to me.
