Less for more

Yup thats right. I have ate out the last couple off days mainly some fast food joints an man I cant believe the prices.$7.00 for a small hambuger an fries Uggg thats terrible an I have noticed some cleaver marketing ploys. Get the large fries for an extra buck or the larger burger for fifty cents more. All off this is in smaller print at the display before you order. I remeber the old days you ordered a certain meal an got fair size burger an lots off fries. But anymore I go away hungry anymore. They should outlaw those smaller boxes the frech fries go in. The older boxes were big an the fries you put in them would fill you. I was so disgusted one day when I ordered my conventiol fast food meal an then the person comes out with a small sack. I said is that it. I remeber very well as a high school kid in the seventies. You got lots off fries an huge burger.an it would really fill you up. Oh well I am going to stay home an not eat out anymore. An folks I ordered pop not a glass half full off ice. Sorry Im not going to name names there alll guilty off this. But the less for more is sure going on in the fast food world. Ive been is restaurants as well an the dishes for the buffet are getting smaller all the time. Ill just take my on dish next time its much bigger.

Well its problay a good thing I need to lose weight anyay.Ah the good old days when the mom an pop restaraunts would serve you with more food then you knew what to do with. But $8.00 for a meal taht would keep a bird alive give me a break. Are you guys seeing the same thing when you eat out.

If you order the super size around here, most places you get enough food to fill you up if you get a big sandwhich to go with it,and you can usually get it for less than $7. I eat out maybe once a week, was more than that, trying to cut back because that kind of food is nowhere near being healthy for you.

Nothing better than a lunch/dinner buffet for $5.95

This should be the largest meal of the day anyway.

all sorts of different food...serve yourself...minimum tip.....in and out of the place as quick as you want.

IIRC, I haven't been to a fast food place since July.

Tim Horton's up here has a sneaky way of marketing as well.

Right after the yearly "Roll Up the Win" contest is over they trake the opportunity to reduce every cup size... eliminating the old small with a new small size and a price increase for all products.
