Air Bag Install ?
I just opened my Air Lift air bag instruction book, and the first thing it said that if you have a Reese 5th hitch that you need to order another bracket before you can install kit. My question, seeings how there tech department is closed right now, does anyone know what the bracket would be or what it does? Do I really need it or can I improvise? I'm assuming this bracket has something to do with the mounting brackets for the rails. All help is appreciated.

Does your model have the plates that bolt to the outside of the chassis showing through the wheel well, and then the top (underbed) section mounts to the plates? I have that style on my work truck, and i just drilled through the plates, and through the frame, and one the front portion there wasn't any plate so i had to shim the side of the mounting bracket outward with some flat washers to equalize the space of the gooseneck plates. Is that what youre talking about?
