Tried installing a Ride Rite 2330 kit with 3" tapered air bag spacers last night. Ran into an issue in that the upper and lower air bag brackets do not line up vertically. When the bags and spacers are mounted, the bags are at an angle, and the bag hangs over the lower bracket.
Has anyone experienced this before? I cannot move the lower bracket side to side so it lines up with the upper bracket.
Called Firestone tech support, and they said no big deal, but it seems to me like the kit should keep everything aligned.....
I have a F-350 SRW with a 6" lift (5" lift block on the rear axle with no factory block).
A pic would be very nice. I put firestone ride rites on mine and didn't experience anything like you are describing. Course mine are probably different based on the description, mine are a double convolted bag, I also angled the top before I drilled the holes so the travel movement would be more inline than if the top was square to the bed. Here is a pic showing what mine look like:
