I want to test drive the supercrew and compare it to the new dodge i drove for ten days while mine got a new engine. the thing is how is the dodge quad bigger in the inside and have a bigger bed (6ft)? as my boys get bigger they will outgrow the ext cab nice as it is. im sure the supercrew will get bigger, and more hp with the dohc the lincoln nav has in it. the dodge had bigger brakes and man can u tell the difference, stop on the dime. without buying the 250 (not ruled out) ill have time to get the one i want. a crew with a sunroof and id rid those goofy looking tail lights (no offense)

The thing is, the Dodge is fractionally bigger inside, hardly noticeable. My Screw is full sized. I had 6 people in it over the weekend, with room to spare. As far as the bigger bed, it's 6 feet versus 5 ft. 7 in. for the Screw. If the 5 inches are important to you, buy the Dodge. For my money, I'll stick with the Ford, with it's great interior, 5.4 engine, and superior build quality. As far as goofy tail lights are concerned, I think the whole Dodge front end BIG TRUCKER look is goofy. Like they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But it will take more than a 5 inch longer bed to get me in a Sdodge!!!
I will test drive a crew when i bring my truck back in. the new engine sounds whistlely and the belts whine. then i will have a more solid opinion. dont get me wrong, i love my 99 offroad. but one thing for sure the bigger brakes add so much precision in ur driving. and about the hood.. i liked it,, coming at u style. im a ford guy but give the boys at dodge credit... they have many more features they added on. except they forgot to light up the wheel for speed controls.
Well Ford lists it at 5' 6"
My wife's Dodge measures the advertised 6'3" with a bedliner
Dodge also costs less
Test drive one and then talk about it That's the only way you can truthfully comment on both vehicles except for looks
We test drove the Super Crew . Had an agreed on price and were just trying to decide on color. We went around to different Ford lots to see different colors. One was right across from a Dodge dealer and as a lark we went to look.
Since the rear doors were smaller we figured it was like Ford's Supercab
What a surprise I sat in the rear and it was as roomy as the Ford
We test drove it and that was it. Ride is better and steering is fantastic. Brakes are better. My buddy has a F150 97 regcab lb and we let him drive the Ram . He was very impressed
BTW I just came back from the Ford Dealer as I was picking up a part for the wheel on my 93 F150SC
They had a Screw 4X4 in the showroom
I checked it out again
I like the Dodge interior better and I sat in the back just to make sure my memory wasn't playing tricks on me
It wasn't . The Dodge IS WIDER .
If you had 6 people in yours the ones in the rear must have been kids
Four people in comfort in either truck.
Six in a pinch
But no way 6 normal adults for any length of time
