Damn thats the best thing I have read on here in awhile. I completely agree, and I think really loud trucks are very similar to the afore-mentioned rice rockets. All bark but not much bite.
Im new to this Forum so I dont know how to post my own question, but I just got a 2001 F250 crew cab v10 with an 8 ft bed. What sucks though is I have to get a new trans and radiator only 2 weeks into having it, Go figure. I was looking for an exhaust system that sound loud and good. For a cheaper price since a lot of my savings just went into fixing the darn thing. Any suggestions?
lol yeah, I just got out of highschool last year now in college, and it was battle for the loudest, biggest, and nicest truck at our school. I think I pretty much was on top aside from a fewer newer trucks that earned higher just for the mere fact they were newer, but for customization and effort, mine easily. But everyday after school the suito rednecks would all burn out in the same order everyday, and it actually got pretty annoying. I tended to wait til I got off school grounds b4 letting rip seeing there were cops everywhere waiting for a kid to make the wrong move. Ahh anyway, now that I am out of high school lifes way better
2 of my 3 cars are loud and fast, the other car is quiet and fast. I felt the truck needed a sound to match it's appearance. My neighbor says he grows more chest hair everytime I start it.
Thanks for all the replies everybody. Dont you just like Sycostangs truck. I wish I could order that color combination from the factory. Oh well I guess Ill have to settle for what they got.
I love me some loud pipes, I'm picky though when it comes to what kind of pipes. Gotta have true dual, angled out the back with 5" tips or bigger, and no cats or high flow cats, no mufflers. If I hear that then I give em kuddos, lol.
Loud for me isn't about power, it's about a good sound. I like what I like cause I like it, I don't go around racing people anyhow, how well do you honestly think a 4.6L engine with 305-70-16 tires is gonna do?

I like your truck man. If i had that truck I basically would have done everything you have done to it so far as well. Engine compartment looked sick, I love what Ford did with there neatness plus your K&N makes it look great. Nice work on the tips too.
