click here DP Tuner tell him what you want your truck to do..every day driver, pull heavy loads or to have fun.. you can choose up to 16 switch on the fly tunes.. you need a good air intake..free flow exhaust and gauges..also get the Overboost Annihilator from him as well..whith a chip you will get an over boost code and the SES light will come on...this Overboost Annihilator will keep that from happening..

Hey Eric.
How bout give us a little more information about your truck and mods. You seem to be doing it right the first time. Ron has the rundown on what you will need with this tuner.
guages(EGT, boost, trannytemp. Diesel Manor is a great vendor), air intake(many options but the 6637Kwikk filter is a reasonably priced choice), 4" full flow exhaust (check EBAY for Mark Romreil MKO for a good system at a good price.)
DO NOT WAIVER on the DP tuner (or any of the other custom tuners, DI, TS, CALE, Tony Wildman) What I am saying is, dont make the same mistake that some of us have and "get off the shelf" stuff.
I got the DP and I am very happy w it. I never had anything else though. Look at my sig. I forgot to do the air filter and I am still alive. I am personally not a subscriber to the 6637 just bc I do a TON of off road driving.
You can spend the first $1200 pretty quick w and intake, exhaust, gauges, and chip. Have fun!
I forgot, I did get the OBA with the tuner. I wasn't getting overboost codes w/o it, but I only really hammered on 120R about three times before I installed the OBA last night. (I bought the tuner from Jody himself, exhaust for $400 obo on eBay, JWVB from ITP, Gauges NOS from a guy on FTE 121.05!)
First of all would like to thank everyone for this very usefull information! I have a 99 f350 SD EXT LB 120k miles with a 9" lift 35" x12.5" mudders, 6" stacks with a 4" downpipe, all the gauges, 6637 filter, I also have a wicked wheel that I havent installed. It currently has a chip on it from what the friend I bought it off of tells me but I dont know what kind it is or where it is installed. It also came with a stacker chip but that is not installed yet either. I dont even know if the chip on there now is even working or what it is set at. I just figured that a dp tuner is the way to go from what everyone says.
