Fan removal:which direction?

Fan removal:which direction?
Guys, getting ready to remove the fan to change the water pump. I have a procedure and all the tools needed. I just want to confirm which direction to turn the nut to remove the fan. As I'm looking at the engine from the front and have the BFW on the fan nut do I move it from the right to left like normal or left to right as in reverse threads? Thanks.
