I am trying to leave to move up to new york and I can not get the running lights on the uhaul trailer to work. I also do not have the owners manual for the truck thanks to the last owner so I can not figure out which fuses to check. The brake lights on the trailer are working just not the running lights... which fuses should I check? Thanks

 

What Year Is The Truck And Do You Have Trailer Tow Package

 

fuse #4 under the hood, 20amp for trailer tow backup and trailer tow park lamps.

 

I have a 2002 and don't have underhood fuse panel. mine is under steering colum and is fuse number 38

 

His sig says its a 2000 model and it does have a PDB under the hood.

 

zx250 has it correct. Right out of the 2000 Owner's Manual.

Make sure the relays are both in the little auxillary "dog house" box beside the under-hood fuse box, too. The dog house and the relays are part of the Towing Package, but you never know who might have needed a relay elsewhere.

Ok, thanks for the reply guys, I am going to check the fuses right now. It is a 2000, i have both the 4 prong hookup and the big round one. I am currently trying to use the 4 prong.
