Just to say Hi. I'm not much for typing, but I'll give a shout. I've been driving Fords for a looooooong time. My first was a 63 Fairlane about 1972.I've had so many since then I wouldn't want to put anyone to sleep with the list. I've had a 2003 Ranger/Tremor for the last 4 years and just bought a 2006 F-150 STX for the extra comfort and space for traveling. I also have a 96 Explorer Sport.( yea I know "a glutton for punishment") but Fords just don't seem to fall apart like others do.
Welcome Bill, great to hear from another Ford ''lifer''.
A friend of mine has his grand father`s light blue 62-63 Fairlane 2dr hardtop and it`s in totally immaculate condition.
I've had quite a few Ford/Mercury vehicles, tons of Mustangs since I began driving 44 years ago. No way do I think we`re "a gluttons for punishment". Fords do not fall apart like others do and for me they used to be a lot easier to work on till about 15 years ago.
Be sure to post your introduction in the Tn chapter soon: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum95/
