An introduction with a question
Hi folks,
I've been lurking around here for awhile now so I thought I should say hello and see if maybe someone can help me figure out the following.

What is the round yellow light directly below the 4x4 switch and directly left of the storage box? It is a factory option and I have seen a few other trucks with no light in this position only a cover that can be popped off.

I would post a photo, but I see no option for that here. I did find an ad showing what I'm talking about. This photo shows the cover over where the yellow light is supposed to be. It's a long address, but hopefully it works..

Typically that is where the power pedal switch is if optioned with it. Never seen a light there.

I agree with the "big dog" above. It would appear someone took advantage of the opportunity to add something thru the hole in the dash. You didn't say, is this a truck you recently acquired? Have you determined where the wire goes from the light?
