Mine did the same thing the other day. The varmits had chewed the 12v wiring to the furnace. Gas getting to the furnace, blower motor comes on and runs for a few minutes, but the burners never lit up. The problem was back at the power junction bowhere the fuses and breakers are located). One 12v wire (obviously it powered the ignition or the power to the board and the thermostat) chewed completely in two. Spliced it back together and off she fired. Might be worth your while to look back there, just be careful. There are a lot of 110v wires back there. It's better to trouble shoot with the shore power UNPLUGGED.

Considering the circumstances you have described, I would go hit up Wallyworld first and get that portable heater. Its easier to work on stuff with thawed fingures.
It is possible that you may still have a little air in the gas line to the heater. It may start working all on its own if you continue to leave the heater on. Unless the gas line has a tee going off right at the heater control valve just before going to the stove... If there is any gas line (independant of the stove line), you may just need to let the air work itself out.
On one of the RV forums I visit now and then, there was a guy that went through what you are describing, with his store for several months prior to use. His heater suddenly started working while he was trying to figure out what was wrong. He was using the RV forum to trouble shoot the system. Once it started working again, what we came up with was that there had to be some residual air in the line dedicated to the heater.
Although, meanwhile I would definately check the heater's exhaust vent to see if it is clear. Spiders love dark places like that to build webs.
Also as suggested, look for chewed, broken, loose fittings, or shorted out wires too.

If you strike out here, and would like to search further for help, try doing a search for "open roads forums". Lots of RV'r go to that site (RV.net) and share information. The tech section there is pretty good with some RV specific smart folks who could probably help you out with some more ideas.
Your furnace has a Thermocouple on it with spark or Hot surface ignition. Make sure that the HSI or sparker is working when you call for heat. (pull panel off from outside and look for where the burner tube goes into the heat exchanger while someone else turns up the thermostat) You are either not getting ignition oooorrrrrrrr, you are getting ignition but the thermocouple is no good and is not making enough voltage to hold the valve open. it would be easier to have someone show you rather than explain it but if you need more help PM me or, I am sure Greywolf could help you too.
Furnace Exhaust Is Clean And Wires Seem To To In Tack...
Had A Freezer Go South On Saturday, And Now Back To Work Doing 13 Hr Day, So Won't Have Time/patience To Deal With This Till Friday Or Saturday.
Martystowrig,
Generally Speaking I Think I Know What You're Talking About, Will Pm You If If Get Lose.
Saga continues, had someone come over yesterday(free). He verified good gas flow to the stove, hot water heater, and the furnace, clean exhaust, also verified that the control circuit board was working and receiving the required 12v. His thought is that the igniter is the problem child, which located under the refrigerator (pulling the refrigerator is required) and recommended that a tech do the job.
John, Does your unit have a single igniter? I know that I am not the brightest bulb in the room, but I thought each appliance had it's own lighting source.
perhaps I should have said that each appliance was getting gas (so we know that the gas line are clean and free of debre) and that the stove, and hot water heater were working and heating up. hope that clears it up
