Pressure Test
If I set up a pressure gauge on the compressor side of my turbo wont the pressure drop down just from the valves and piston rings? Or should it hold about 30 psi?

I think it should hold the pressure. As far as I know there is no valve overlap on diesel so either the intake valve will be closed or the intake open and the pressure will fill the cylinder and the exhuast valve will be closed. but it won't be a perfect seal.
