Comming off the classic side to ask a question.
There is a guy local with a rear end from a 98 F-150 4X4 that says he has a Dana 60 from it he is getting rid of.
I'm assuming this is the 9.75" Ford. I haven't asked him if it was the 5.4L but will.
If so am I safe in assuming that it is the 9.75" before I drive over and check it out. Or did they come with a D60.
Also I'm just doing a bit of research here and I did a bit of research but if anyone could throw in the Wheel-to-wheel width of the rear end that would be excellent. I'm assuming these are centered axles like the 60 as I'm wanting to swap it into a FJ40. Should be working on my 56 but ohh well, got to love all the projects.
Thank you,
Jason

So I'm guessing that is a 3.55 rear end 9.75". I'm guessing that is what that means. So hopefully I answered my own question
Guy said it had 3.73 gears so I have to wonder more about it.
So for future info what do the rest of the numbers mean????
Thank you.
