which rear for '87 FSB

Hey guys,
The pinion bearings let go in my '87 302/aod and have messed up the rear diff pretty badly. I'd rather just change out the whole rear end as a unit. I plan on hitting the local pull yards this weekend, what other donors can I look for besides another FSB that will be a straight swap?

F-150 will also work. Since you're doing it, this would be a good time to swap to a 9" if you've been thinking about it.

And I just gave away my last 9"...it was from an EB anyway.
So the 150 rears will bolt right in w/ no modifications?

any 9" from a FSB or F150 will work as well as an 8.8. Pay attention to the driveshafts though because there are some flange variations, even on the 8.8 from 89 to 90. Also pay attention to the gear ratio based on what your front axle is.

That opens the field up quite a bit, thanks.
