solenoid issues

went to work today, no problem. leaving work, when I went to start it, nothing. No click, no starter sound, nothing. Had a good battery though, so I figured it was the solenoid (it was the original, after all) jumped across the terminals and headed home. changed it out, still nothing. Checked voltage at the 'S' terminal wire, both with the key in the run position and when I turned it like I was cranking the engine, and zero voltage. Now, looking at the Haynes manual, it shows it to be a red/lt blue wire that connects to both the neutral safety switch and the engine control sytem. I don't think it is the neutral safety switch as I just had it replaced less than 18 months ago. And, for the record, the starter is less than 8 months old. Also, I have not had a single problem with it starting until this afternoon.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. I have not tried any other ways. This weekend, as it warms up, my first plan of attack, after some research is to test my neutral safety switch, checking for voltage at two pins and making sure it is adjusted properly. I'm hoping it does not come down to the ignition switch.
