4X4 auto hub part

Hello from the other side of the pond...Germany. I`m a retired military servicemember residing in Germany. I`m looking for some info about the wheel retaining key (3B549 Wheel Retainer Key ) on my 1997 F250HD Crew Cab. The Ford dealer here ( Germans ) say I have to buy a complete rebuild kit for the hub to get the retainer key. Is this true? Can anyone help me locate a reatiner key? I have to do all the work on my truck for the Germans don`t work on the American trucks and the Army here can`t order the parts. They say I have to get it through the Germans.
