carpet on enclosure

what kind of carpet is the one used on custom sub enclosures? where do i buy one bec i have already build a box for the first time. now i need carpet. thanks

Usually Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, or other hardware stores carry it. I can't think of what it is called though.

I believe the proper technical term is "rat fur".

You can often find free carpet in dumpsters behind carpet stores.
