I have a 2002 Lincoln Navigator and i'm trying to find someone who knows what the air space is of the factory 8" subwoofer enclosure in cubic feet. Thanks in advance

So your subwoofer has insufficient volume?

I removed the enclosure, lined the outside of it with sound deadener and replaced the subwoofer with an aftermarket one and amplifier and it sounds terrible. I'm thinking the enclosures air space is to small and was hoping someone might know the specs of the enclosure.

You need a subwoofer that is optimized for small enclosures. Most likely, it will have to be a sealed enclosures, ported enclosures usually requires bigger volumes. In worst case where you use a subwoofer that is optimized for larger volumes and put it in a ported small enclosure it'll sound worse than the factory unit.

I'd ditch the factory box. Years ago I installed the JL Audio Stealthbox for our trucks and it was/is AMAZING. It is worth every penny and then some. Plus, the factory box has a hole in the back for the screw that holds the speaker in.

The replacement subwoofer is a Kicker compR which says minimum sealed enclosure is .5 cubic feet,I took a dremel and cut out that cone with the hole in the back of the box and fiberglassed a patch in to make the box air tight. I'm leaning towards ditching the box entirely..just sucks i wasted 70 bucks trying to make it work. (Sound deadener, fiberglass)

I think it's like kicking a dead horse to try to improve that factory enclosure. You'll be better off building a custom wooden or fiberglass enclosure for it.
