AOD Rebuild
Does anyone have a link to a website that I may be able to view the disassembly of the Ford AOD transmission. Mine is pretty burnt up and I want to see how it comes apart and goes back together. Thanks...

I purchased a VHS tape from these guys for the GM 700R4. Watched the video over and over and was able to rebuild the trans. Looks like some of the videos are only on DVD or VHS tape.

I got a Haynes techbook for Ford Automatic transmission from my local autozone. It shows how to "dissassemble" the AOD. It helps with the photos they have and lists the Ford tools for that tranny.

This is for a 4R70W transmission but would give you the idea.
Complete video of disassembly and assembly, plus pictures of parts. I would recommend downloading and saving in your hard drive. A lot of companies charge money for videos like these.....enjoy.
