new ford truck buyer

buying a 1987 f-150 with a 300 straight-6, fuel-injection, 4-speed manual, great truck with only a few minor dents and dings!

Not if I buy it first!

Welcome to FTE escortman,

It would be great if it were a Flareside (Fords term for stepside, and don't you forget it). I am looking for a similar truck with a Flareside bed myself.

Great trucks and I hope you enjoy it and I hope you enjoy FTE.

There is a forum just for these model years, 87-96 that is.
see you in the posts

Congrats. that truck will serve you well. My brother had 87 F150 w/ 302 that lasted 340K very hard miles. He was lisenced for 12,600 lbs with the gooseneck. Like I said, hard miles.
