Didn't notice when it was WARM outside that my heated seat was bad, but did notice the other day when it was 15 outside. Pulled the seat tonite, and checked it out, and the element itsself is open, so I assume it is time for a new element. Anyone know how much Ford charges for them? Is there an aftermarket place to get them?

I don't know about the factory ones, but I installed heated seats in my XLT. You can order the replacement elements from them. They also have an install kit that comes with pliers & hog rings for an easier install. Their website says you can use their elements to replace factory units. I've been happy with mine.
