I just wanted to bouble check. i have been reading that you can install a switch to ground out white terminal on relay for manual operation. i was thinking of installing a switch in beetween the white wire and the terminal. I think this will allow me to either turn off the cycle or let it do what it normally would. Any sugestions.
You have a 2008 truck listed ...... do you have a 6.9 or 7.3 engine your working on..
6.9 it's wise to use a push button due to controller failure usually burns up the GPs.
The solid state 7.3 system is best left to it's own operation since it is better and automaticaly works to keep the GPs heated. Even after a start to disipate white smoke due to cold cylinders up to 2 minutes by cycling.
