So my buddy decided he wanted to do a little wheelin in his jeep back in my woods after it rained some. So we go back there, driving around hit some holes, its doin pretty good for a stock jeep. Then we come up to the place where dubz got stuck a while back..
I say "watch out, dubz got stuck up here, its kind of deep"
his response "yeah, well dubz is a terrible driv-:THUMP:"
Jeep is now sittin on it's frame
Too far back for the superduty, so I had to fire up the bronco (only goes in reverse and one of the mufflers isn't on it.. my neighbors love me ) So I back down the drive and all the way around the trail (not very long, but still..) and pull it up behind him. Hook up and out he comes..
Paul, what's the status of the transmission? also, what happened to the grill(possibly time for a trip to the junkyard).
The tranny is still kaboom. I thought I had one lined up from someone on fullsizebronco and then he decided to sell his whole bronco instead of part it out, so back to searching. Maybe I'll tear into it, I'm leaving for portland saturday and won't be back for a week, almost time to go back to school already when I get back
The grill.. my hood release broke, so i had to take the grill off to get to the latch/cable to pop my hood. I have to find one of those too now..
Definitely some bigger tires needed for it. It doesn't look all that big in the pictures, but you kind of get stuck on some roots and it drops down a bit, deceiving for the driver. No one wants to listen to me when I tell them they're going to get stuck in it
