I have recently aquired a set of C9VE A heads. Can I simply bolt these new heads to my existing block with out having to worry about existing pistons clearence problems and push rod problems? (I may at the same time wish to change out my cam and cam gears and chain)
The pushrods are different. The rocker arm assemblies are also different. This will raise your compression from 8.0:1 to around 9.5:1 . They do not have hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel either, but if you are going to have them reworked, the machine shop can install them.
Everything else should bolt right up.
