Wink My new wheels

I spied this one day a few months ago and low and behold it showed up under the tree.

It's not a Franklin mint but it is nicely done. It's from a store that is only in Canada, that I know of, called Canadian Tire. They are a chain of stores that sells automotive/hardware and sporting goods whares. They come out with these trucks every so often but this is the first one that I have got.

Canadian Tire was all sold out of these last year but thanks to Glen I did get one.
It`s a Liberty Classics brand diecast bank and very nicely detailed. It looks so good in red with the black roof/interior, excellent chrome detailing on the grill, bumpers, side trim and wheel covers.
I don`t know why it`s so hard to find a good model of a 79 Ford pickup model.....

Only the doors open, the hood doesn`t.
No info on the motor (but of course it just has to be a 460.....).

lol...actually, my weapon of choice would be a 300 I6. the 460 is great, but its hard to beat the happy purr of the 6 as she hauls stuff around...

For a toy the 460 would be nice, for a work truck either the 300 or 302 would be better. Another of my favorites was the 390 but it was only around till 1976.
