It's not a Franklin mint but it is nicely done. It's from a store that is only in Canada, that I know of, called Canadian Tire. They are a chain of stores that sells automotive/hardware and sporting goods whares. They come out with these trucks every so often but this is the first one that I have got.
wowwers thats a good one, not even Fom has one in his collection. Wish I got toys like that.
Canadian Tire was all sold out of these last year but thanks to Glen I did get one.
It`s a Liberty Classics brand diecast bank and very nicely detailed. It looks so good in red with the black roof/interior, excellent chrome detailing on the grill, bumpers, side trim and wheel covers.
I don`t know why it`s so hard to find a good model of a 79 Ford pickup model.....
For a toy the 460 would be nice, for a work truck either the 300 or 302 would be better. Another of my favorites was the 390 but it was only around till 1976.
