Hardwire Portable GPS
I have a 2005 f150 and would like to know how is the best way to hard wire this GPS unit . All of the power points are on all the time i would like to have it off when the truck is not running any help would great Thanks George

If you have the auto dim rear view mirror it's an ignition switched 12volt...as well as the little module behind it (I think that's the electrocompass or the flux capacitor). That's where I've got my radar detector hardwired.

NEED HELP. Found a auto dim mirror and need to install. Do you know what wire is hot and what wire is ground and what the the third wire is for? I am ready to heave it into the scrap heap. I know I can install with a little help. That little box on the back (flux capacitor) is that for my warp drive?
