Looking to order a 2008. F150. 4x4 I don't think it can be very much work to just raise the front end. But it sure does make a difference in the looks.

I agree. The best thing anyone can do to the 04-08 trucks is level out the front.
IF you don't plan on towing and you will stay with the stock sized tires, then a 2" or 2.5" Autospring spacer would work great.
I put a 2" on my dad's 04, and taking my time it took me 1 1/2 hours to do one side, and once I knew what I was doing, 1/2 hour for the other.
There are other options, but if you just want the lift spacer, then the autospring is the way to go.
There is a 3" skyjacker lift that includeds new shocks, lifts the front 3", and a 1.5" add a leaf for the rear.
Then bilstein sells coil over shocks(which is what is on the front of these trucks) that can be adjusted to have 2" lift, so no spacer needed.
The reason I'm saying this is b/c the stock shocks will not last more than 30K miles, and they will be shot, requiring you to spend more money and go back and basically redo the job you just did on the spacer, so shocks with a lift would be like killing two birds with one stone.
It would of been easier to help you/quicker if you would of had all the info in the first post.... just fyi
