hi-idle

Hey everyone....
Just wondering if anyone is familiar with the hi-idle feature on the 08 superduty's (diesel)
I am curious if there is a way to have it set to one of my upfitter switches so that i can control when it is on/off?

Also, I am curious as to how i tie into those upfitter switches (they have been factory installed @ ford)

If the 08 high idle setup is the same as the 05-07, then this link should be what you need:

I wish I knew the answer to that, but don't. Maybe someone else will chime in.

First thing to do would be to check and see if you have all the required wires, I guess.

It's a real easy job if so.

There are a bunch of threads discussing that very topic, with a lot of good ideas.

Air horn, extra lights, backup lights... list goes on and on.
