trailer connector
i have 8way trailer connector. there is power going to it. i went to hook my 4plug connector into it with the adaptor. and there is nothing bought tester and have no parking turn or anything to it. but i plug the trailer in and the brake controller light comes on. what you guys think might be

If the big plug has power going to it maybe you have a faulty adapter or the main plug is wired wrong. Just go through the big plug with a test light to determine the locations of turn, brake, and running lights. Then make sure your adapter has metal plates in the right position on the plug.
