Tow Command Question

I just picked up my new '07 F-350 stakebed truck last night. Unfortunately I have to hook my pressure washing trailer on to it with only 200 miles on the odometer. When I went to hook up the trailer I have no trailer brakes. Possibly a bad connection on the trailer somewhere?

I don't think it's the truck. Before I traded my '05 E-150 in on the truck I lost the brake connection on the trailer. It's got brakes on both axles 7,000 lbs each.

Does the display on the TC show the trailer connected ? Does the gain #'s light up ? Does the brake away switch work the brakes ?

I just found and fixed the problem. The main hot wire broke back at the front axle of the trailer. Problem fixed. Thanks for all your help though, I appreciate it.
