Thanks Nathan.
How much difference is there between the two?

I wouldnt think there would be much of a difference. Probably just enough to not be useable!

i didn't realize there was a difference in the 2. guess that shoots the thought of getting a C&C cheap and dropping a box on it...

The pickup axle is about 8" wider than the chassis cab.

My PSD is a chassis cab. Says so right on the tab on the door. It had a service deck on it when I got it. As some of you saw, the dually long box was a perfect fit. I had thought the axle to cab length would be a problem, but it fit just right. On a regular cab, it would have been a problem. The axle width wasn't a problem. Not trying to stir things up, just my 2 cents.

If you found something, I'd still measure it all up, just to make sure.

Yup, that's my thought exactly. Just 'cause it worked for me, doesn't mean it will for the next guy. And I'd rather my statements don't cause costly headaches for the next guy.

I'll have to have a close look at mine and see. Hmmmm..... So, a pickup box shouldn't actually fit on a chassis cab, but the other way should work. Again, food for thought. THanks Nathan.
SHerm, it's getting better.
