Question Locking Hubs

I have a 76 3/4 ton heavy duty front axle swapped into my 73 Hi-boy.
It has the large diamater locking hubs ( not the smaller half ton or tapered 3/4 ton type) and they are starting to act up and I guess it's time to replace them. I really like the look of the OEM units but quality after market hubs would be OK.

Does any one know where I can find replacements for these less common larger diamater hubs?

there are only 2 options oem(wich isn't really an option as they are obsolete) and aftermarket... warn makes some horrible looking, but strong replacements. i wish they would make the originals again... they look sooo much better. the premium ones are the ugliest hubs ive seen in a loooong time!

Unless you physically broke them, they probably just need cleaning and re-lubing. There's not a whole lot that can go wrong with them. I see the red plastic inserts on ebay (NOS) every now and then (nothing on there today), but there is a used set for parts that you may be able to use?

I did the clean and lube thing with them but the right hand hub will still occaisonaly slip a tooth under load. I have it shimmed right now so it won't pop out. I think there is just enough combined wear on all the parts to cause this problem so unless I can find low mile stockers on ebay I think I'll go with the Warn units at Jeff's.

Thanks to all for your help !
