Work truck...Husky liners....family truck...I went to Wally world. They have a heavy duty rubberized mat set that I put on top of my King Ranch mats. They work really well and when I take the truck to a show...I just pull out the rubber ones and the good King Ranch mats are clean and ready to show.
Husky Floor Liners all the way I have them on my truck, front and rear). The liners have protected my carpet from snow, mud, sand, rain, and every other element. Very durable. Also made in the USA.
good topic, i am currently doing the same right now. with the price of some of these things, i want to know that i am getting a good product. i found on the cabela's web site quite a few different products and they all have reviews. good and bad.
I have the weather tec mats front and rear. The mats in the front are ok, but the mat across the rear seems to be a little too short to cover the carpet from front to back. It also slides around a lot. It would be better if it had something to hold it in place on the carpet.
I have the Husky Liners for fall/winter, and Catch All carpet floor mats for the sping/summer. I really like both of them. Check out my gallery for pictures.
Husky Liners are nice. Anything of good heavyduty rubber with the ability to drain down the sides and not just pool up are nice. I prefer to go with no carpet in my trucks and like to run vinyl. Dont get those ones with the diamondplate on them as from watching my pal in his truck. They are a danger and when icy out your lucky to not break your neck getting into your truck LOL
Not sure if you want a mat or carpet. If carpet, these are great:
http://www.buycarfloormats.com I got their heavy duty mats and they're very nice and generously cut -- reaches all the way to the door sills unlike the factory mats.
I only use the husky liners, this is the 5th vehicle I have had them in, they hold up very well, look nice and never move. They have small **** on the underside that bite into the carpet and keep them in place. If you look at my gallery of my 250 you can see the black, front, passenger side. went with black because of the black in the dash and door panels.
My Weather Tech's arrived the other day; good looking/fitting for the drivers and passengers sides. But the 2nd row mat (crew cab) isn't nearly as good a fit. Too short both sides and length, [looks like a generic brand from Walmart or similiar]and I wouldn't buy the 2nd row mats again. But then again I've rarely had anyone sitting in the back seats (dogs excluded)
