headlight plug....
hey guys, so heres the deal..bought the nokya blue bulbs and had em in my truck for about 3 or 4 months and now the passenger headlight is out...i know what happened b/c the same exact thing happened to me on my 05 superduty...(it says right on the package that the upgraded harness is recommened, which this is the second time i have ignored it...don't ask why just hard headed i guess..) anyway the bulbs get too hot for the factory plug and burn it up...i replaced the one on my 05 which came from Oreillys and was fine..take it from me, if you're gonna get the higher wattage bulbs..replace the harness..my question is, does anyone know where i can get a replacement plug for the 08 other than the dealer?? Thanks...

I have news for you, I have the upgraded harness for my 04 and I think those plugs are even worse. I burned my left plug in a matter of months. The oem ford replacement plugs are the heaviest duty plugs I have been able to find.

yea i know what you're saying...i did the same with my 05 and all went well..i'm just going to switch back to regular bulbs in my 08...but my right side is still burned out and still need to find a replacement plug for it....any ideas?? thanks
