This is a very good site for looking up VIN numbers:

im kinda suprized only a 3:55 gear truck looks to have a towing package with front and rear sway bars, extra wide mirrors, big hubs infront, and i dont no if its anything different but its got a big trailer light plug also. did these trucks come with a factory brake controler for pullin trailers? sounds dumb but if there is one tucked under the dash or somthing id hate to go buy a new one when i dont have to. im just not used to somthing this "new"

No on the brake controller unless the dealer installed one, but they are plug and play if get the right harness, the plug is under the dash by the ashtray.Later
