hi everyone, nate here. i've got a 1991 f250 with the 351w. i've done a tune up on it, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filter, serp belt, it also has a new egr valve, and a new o2 sensor. my problem is that i have a power problem. the truck feels kind of sluggish overall. with that, it starts and idles fine, but at low speeds it chugs bad, like the fuels is getting cut off. especially at certain points when i throttle, if i hold it there, it will chug bad and pretty much nonstop. at highway speeds it seems to do pretty well,(not great power though) but no chugging. any ideas for me? thanks a lot for any help!
hello, thanks for the reply. as far as i know, the truck only has about 124k on it. i have run a bottle of lucas and a can of bg44k through it. other than ripping it apart, anything else that might help?
The Throttle Position Sensor may have gone bad. It's on the bottom of the throttle body, you'll have to remove the throttle body from the intake (get new gasket) and then change the TPS, two screws holding it in place.
