Okay, i have decided to do the FPR shim thing, and D.I. no longer has the shim kit and ITP is closed for the next week, can anyone tell me if anyone else carries the shim kit? Ford, International, anyone?? OR i dont mind doing the screw shim but does anyone know exactly what size screw(s) to purchase from a hardware store? I have read the write up from 7point3.com but i did not see a specific screw size listed. Any advice would be appreciated.
i have seen that website but what is the approximate size of the screw to begin with? i know that there is a ruler there but i cannot seem to be able to tell from the angle that the screw is at. maybe i'm an idiot but i need a bit more help if anyone here knows the answer. thanks!!!

The bottom screw is a 4-40 socket head that is the base material for a shim. At top, I also used a pan head screw, but had to grind down the sides to fit the the OE regulator cover. The screw top right has been reworked for 75 psi. It's head height is 0.075 inch and the threaded section has been ground down to about 3/16 inch so the OE reg will not bottom out if the filter gets clogged. For referance, a nickel is 0.065 inch thick and 2 dimes 0.090 inch thick if you don't have a caliper
It says it's a 4-40 screw. The length isn't all that critical as long as it's not real long. Looks like about 1/2" to me. It just needs to be long enough to hold itself in place while you put it back together.
