Hey I'm pretty new to this so don't be too rough but I have 1991 Ranger with 6 inches of lift pushing 33x12.50R15 and a 5 speed manual tranny...but as usual a problem with it. It is stock with the 2.3L engine and I'm looking for more power and maybe someone could help me get that extra little boost I'm looking for in my truck..
What if i just wanted a 2.9 or 4.0 in my truck, my brother had the 2.9 in his '89 Bronco II and had 31's and his didn't lack power so would it be worth it to just go up to the 2.9 or 4.0 and where could I find one??
1. Go to the Ranger forum and post your questions about swaps.
2. You can place an ad for a 4.0 in the FTE classifieds.
3. You can probably find all the 4.0 parts at an auto recycler in your area.
