Hey guys I have a 95 f150 std cab shrt box 300 5spd 4x4 blah blah... anyways I would like to lift it 4".. my girl friends wants 6"... I had a 93 with a tuff country 6" lift, I didn't mind it one bit! But This will be my every day driver and I will do some mild off road but probably 3 or 4 times a year. Any opnion or personal experience? Thanks!
do what you want. i say four inch, with a six you almost always have to have big tires, and if you have a g/f and you plan on getting married, money will probaly be tight, and big tires are high. i would rather use money on rent or food than a 1000 dollar set of tires. this is my opionon(?) you might be older and money is not a problem, if your younger you will see this after youre married..as for me i have a 4 inch and you can run smaller(cheaper) tires and still look "cool".
lol i don't plan on getting married any time soon, and saving money is always good but it'll just end up getting put back towards other truck mods! =P ... what 4" system are you running? Do you like it?
i have a 250 hd, i kind of have a home made lift, add a leafs and stacked springs in the back. my truck is a former fire truck, and they had the back suspinson(?) gee i cant speel tonite) beefed up to compesate for the extra water and pumps and all the gear, and to even it out they installed add a leafs in the front also. it is a advantage f-250 and 350 owners have it is a lott easier to raise it up a little.rides like a tank with all the extra springs though.
