Cat Back vs Turbo Back

did a little surfing and came across the MBRP exhaust systems. What, if any, increases in performance will these systems produce? Any warranty issues? I have 32K on my 05 6L. Thanks

No increase in MPG. No Increase in Hp. Different sound (better is up to the user). Yes an A/M exhaust system will lower EGT about 150-200F Turbo back and the Cat back will run about 50F warmer than turbo back. Lower EGT are a benefit if you tow alot or want to install performance mods like a tuner.

I have a MBRP Catback system. The biggest thing I noticed was quicker turbo spool-up. That made it worth it to me.

You can expect a little better fuel mileage towing. Thats if you can keep your foot out of the throttle. I find that mine sounds cool and I am on the throttle more now. But. On the cruise control on the highway I am getting 2 mpg better than I did before when I pull our 10,000 lbs camper.

So you are saying the turbo back system will drop EGT by 150 - 200F and the cat back about 100 - 150F? Has anyone else seen similar numbers?

I installed it on Weds and offer some candid, honest thoughts in that thread.
