throttle hesitation

First i would like to say hello to everyone this is a great site for information .I have purchased an F550cc with 488 gears it now has about 1800 miles .Ever since day one it has had hesitation at 1900-2000 rpms.Almost like a bog when slight pressure is applied at this rpm range. The Ford tech says this is normal. The first two days i owned the truck sometimes going up a hill the throttle pedal could be pushed to the floor and the truck would come to an idle and coast to the side of the road. Thank you for any information .

I could see a little hesitation if you were coasting down a hill and then punched it at there was a hesitation for the turbo boost to build up but that is the only place you should have a hesitation. If there is another dealer nearby I would take it in to them to get them to look at it or ask another tech to look at it. I have an 08 F-250 which is a smaller truck but that doesn't sound right to me.

You got a problem. I've got a 450 and never experienced anything like this....I would find a different Dealer because that is not normal!

I may be having the same thing happening in my 450. I just got back from a road trip and the truck "studdered" quite a few times. Some of the times it would do it when it started to go into regen but many times when I would get on it to pass someone it would just bogg down and lose all power. Anyone have this happen before?

I have a f550 cc 4x4 and tow 40.000 combind weight. Never have i had this problem. Do u loose all your boost also? I just had the latest reflash put in mine because it was in regen all the time, it is alot better now. Did they test drive the truck and have it happen. If not make them, they are full of it if that is normal.
