What engine do I have?
My truck is a 1971 Ford F100. VIN F10ARK64846. Engine is a straight six with 3 on the tree. The ID tag says the engine is rated at 114hp at 3800rpm's. Anyone know what engine this is? 243 or 300cu/in?

Just basing what you posted about the HP , I beleive its a 240 Cu In ?

Paul is right. The fourth digit (A) is your engine code, and that indicates the stock engine in your truck is a 240 straight six.
