Performance Question???
I have a 97 XL 4x4 Exp with the 5.4 & 3.73LS. Wife has a 99 EB 4x4 Exp with the 5.4 & 3.55 rear axle.
Question is... Why does her 99 feel so much quicker then mine? It's faster off the line & in passing situations.
How can I make mine preform as good as hers?

The 97 & 98 5.4's were only 230HP, the 99-04(I think, maybe 03) had the 260HP engine thanks to the new heads, for 03 or 04 up it is the 300HP 3v.

Thx for the answer on the heads, made me do some research on them. Didn't know the 97-98 engines were different, I thought 97-04 were all the same.
