I agree. On top of that, I drain mine at every oil change. I know that is overkill, but it is also cheap insurance.
In fact, unless you change your oil more than once a month, it's no more overkill than checking your tire pressure or oil level regularly. Page 57 of the 6.0 Supplement manual:

Has anyone thought of making an adapter and valve for it? Kind of like the fumoto valve. All it would need to be is an elbow with the right threads to replace the drain plug, a valve, and maybe a hose nipple so a short piece of hose could be attached to it.
