Front end shimmy.

Front end shimmy.
I packed my front bearings a couple of weeks ago and lubed the brake caliper pins at the same time. Now when I slow from highway speeds and start to brake I get what feels like brake shimmy. The steering wheel shimmies and the brake pedal seems to vibrate ever so slightly. Could this be something I caused or are my tie rods ends showing some wear? I can't imagine having warped brake rotors all of a sudden with 62K miles on the truck. The brake pads looked barely worn. The truck's an '03 6.0 CC DRW 2WD.

Sure sounds like warped rotors. Cleaning and lubing the calipers may be allowing your front pads to do there job and now you feel the warped rotors more. If you pads had very little ware, you may not have been using much front braking.
