Yeah it would be, We have stuff for tourists to do.
I am thinking that we may be doing a trip down the oregan coast like we did in 2001, Got home the night before (9/11/01) and woke up to the footage on tv and watched the towers fall live. Well, Enough reminessing about the good ol times.
That trip down the coast is something we have often thought about but it never seems to happen. Maybe someday.
Zip, what setting do you normally keep your Evo? Any issues with your tranny due to the Evo?
I usually keep it on 2. It is actually a big improvement over stock. I got it mainly for transmission tunning and trying to squeeze a little more out of the 5.4. No problems with my transmission as of yet and I have had it in for awhile now.
You must get some nice performance gains with that on the 7.3. I have a 5.4 and get nowhere near the gains that you do. (I think they claim something like 15-25 hp) I would imagine you are putting a fair bit more torque and hp to the tranny than I am.
The Evo plugs into the OBDII port and is programed that way. Also portable. The Juice/Attitude plugs into multiple points in the engine compartment, gas pedal, and the pyrometer of course into the manifold.
Stock Dyno, 221.9hp/468.6ft.lbs. Had the truck Dyno'd in Oct./Nov., just the Evo set to the 3rd setting, I had 288.8 hp/599.3ft.lbs. The torque converter wasn't locking according to the Dyno Tech. Which I do believe him, I was already working on putting a kit together. Give me a year or two and my dyno sheet will be even higher.

So as far as this gtg goes I guess we should first find out how much interest we have. Then we can look a what every one wants (get together at coffee shop, restaurant, afternoon bbq, camping). How far people are willing to travel etc. My thought was somewhere where some bbq's could be set up with enough room for Ford parking so every one can check out the rides. Anyone with thoughts please chime in.
I think a bbq qould be a great idea. Also depending on who is interested in going, it would be nice to have it at a centralized location for everyone. Then everyone has to drive to get there!
