Kona, You in Kamloops?
Wifey And I love that area. Stayed there for a week 2 years ago. Kid loved the water park at the river. I keep dreaming about going back to the Amsterdam restaurant. That was the most delicious breakfast I have ever had.
We were thinking of going back in Late Feburary with Our now 3-1/2 year old and then New born. Seems as though thare is nothing to do for a family with a new born in the winter. We would be stuck in our TT the whole time.

You can do a little fishing in the river. Do a mine tour in Hedley.
Can't go to Wal-mart, can't go see a movie, Can't stop at a traffic light. Not much here just an old small town. The nice thing is Vancouver is 2-3 hours away. Kamloops is a couple hours away. Penticton is a little over an hour. Kelowna is about 2 1/2 hours away.
So to make a long story short not much here.

I am thinking that we may be doing a trip down the oregan coast like we did in 2001, Got home the night before (9/11/01) and woke up to the footage on tv and watched the towers fall live. Well, Enough reminessing about the good ol times.

That was the only thing that made that trip not so fun. We saw the New Carissa, A semi submerged broken off part of a container ship that was beached in the 90's during a storm. It was so close to shore you would think you could walk/swim to it. Then drove the 101 all the way home over 4 days. aaahhhhhhhh relaxation.
